You did such an amazing job for us the day of the wedding, coordinating the vendors and making sure that I wouldn't have to worry with any of the last minute details. The whole event went flawlessly and I could not be happier with how it turned out. It was beautiful and such a reflection of Jaime and I, I'm so grateful to have had the use of such an amazing space. When I first saw the Veranda in person, I knew that it was meant to be somewhat of a blank slate for Jaime and I to make our own and we couldn't have done that without your help. Your guidance on the wedding day was amazing, I think that without you we would have never gotten me down the aisle in a timely fashion nor would the cake have ever been cut. I don't feel that I can say thank you enough, I have heard from several friends that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

We used the Alden for our wedding reception and catering. They were really great to work with. The event planner was extremely responsive to all of my e-mails and concerns. She really did an excellent job at making sure the reception was exactly what we wanted it to be. They even did all of the set up for us and allowed us to bring all of our items to the hotel the day before the wedding. We had a great time at our reception and a lot of that was thanks to the wonderful staff at the Alden. We also can not say enough great things about the food provided. It was simply amazing! Everyone told us how much they enjoyed the dinner and how wonderful the food was! I should also mention that my husband left our rings at the hotel and showed up at the ceremony site without them and The Alden made sure the rings arrived via courier. I doubt many vendors would do that for their bride and groom!

"After visiting several downtown hotels and venues for our daughter's upcoming wedding, we chose The Alden Hotel. It seemed the perfect setting for what the couple was looking for; contemporary, not too large and downtown chic. The help we received during the planning process was invaluable. Our coordinator, Catherine, was especially helpful with ideas and suggestions for everything from timing to decorations. Many items we never even thought of nor would we have been prepared for.
The food choices were new and exciting and were prepared beautifully. The Chef spent an afternoon explaining preparation, seasonings and seasonal availability to us. Our guests were well taken care of from the eclectic appetizers through desert. But the staff was the best of all. Many of our guests came up to during and after the wedding to compliment the attentive and charming staff. They took care of every request including special meals, children's needs, etc. without a single problem.
A number of our guests, including the bride and groom stayed at The Alden and raved that the fine service, food and attention to every detail continued throughout their stay. They are already looking forward to any future stays. Hats off to THE ALDEN."
